Paul Cummins is founder, major shareholder and CEO of Telegael, one of Ireland’s largest film, animation and television studios. Established in 1988, the Telegael group today employs over 175 people working on a range of feature film and television productions – animation and live action.
Paul is chairman of the Stiúideo Telegael film and television studios based in Galway, Ireland, which Telegael acquired from US film producer Roger Corman in 2007.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Paul has acted as Executive Producer on over 60 film and television series. He has served on the Film Finance Committee of the Irish Audiovisual Federation and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Irish Film and Television Academy. Paul is also chairman of iRadio group, which is Ireland’s leading regional radio station targeting the 20-44 audience.
A seven-time EMMY nominee, Paul won two EMMY awards, 2004 and 2007, while his productions have won five IFTA Awards.
