Commissioning Executive in RTÉ’s Young People’s Programmes
Pauline Macnamara is a Commissioning Executive in RTÉ’s Young People’s Programmes with responsibility for commissioning live-action from the independent sector and managing RTÉ’s animation slate.
Before joining RTÉ, Pauline worked as a producer in the independent sector for over 15 years across entertainment, daytime and youth programming. She also worked as a production manager on the original Riverdance stage show, and spent a year working on the start-up of Ireland’s first national commercial radio station, Today FM.
Pauline joined RTÉ in 2005 as Series Producer in Young People’s Programmes, where she devised and produced a daily entertainment series, a talent series, a daily teen strand and a weekly chat show before taking up her current role in 2010.
