Director of Rasmey
Tevy is a young French animation artist, freshly graduated from the Emile Cohl school in
Lyon. She first studied advanced academic drawing and painting, but quickly her interest for
animation, visual development and filmmaking became her main motivation.
Her studies gave her the opportunity to work as an animation intern at TVPaint Development in Metz, where she could cultivate and broaden her traditional skills through digital tools.
On her last year at school, Tevy united all of this with her taste for travels and her cultural
origins to create Rasmey, her graduation short film. She worked on it alone for less than 5
months. The three minutes long film has won the Netizen Choice prize at the Bucheon
International Animation Festival in Korea, and has been screened at many international festivals.
Now a freelance animator and illustrator, Tevy is currently working on her second short movie
project, which can be expected on screens this summer.
